The history

There has been a family of perfumers at the helm of Campomarzio70's stores from the very beginning. Since 1926, four generations of the Di Liello family have lived and breathed perfume with unrivalled passion. Over the years this passion has been handed down from father to son, culminating in the current set-up with mother, father and two sons all involved in an ambitious and prestigious project.

In 1996 the family opened their first store, Pantheon 96, in Piazza della Rotonda. The next store, Campomarzio70, followed in 2003, in Via di Campo Marzio 70, and with it the brand was born. 2010 marked a turning point with the opening of the first Essential Gallery in Via Vittoria 52. With its delicate balance of opposites, the space in Via Vittoria, reinterpreted and recreated by Design for Architecture, encapsulates the next stage of the journey begun by the Di Liello family, and is now an established forum, both in Italy and worldwide, for leading figures within the sector.

2012 saw the opening of the first store outside Rome, The Essential Store in Cortina d'Ampezzo, a place particularly dear to the Di Liello family's hearts. Right from the start the store's destiny was already mapped out and its layout in place, since each new outlet replicates, with a few variations, the image of the Essential Gallery in Rome. The successful format of the Rome store helped consolidate the company's franchising project in 2014, with the opening of an Essential Store in Ravenna and a concession in Porto Cervo's Donne Concept Store. 2014 also saw a facelift for the original Via di Campo Marzio premises shortly before the arrival of a new and not-to-be-missed addition to the family in December, when a new Campomarzio70 Store opened in Milan's ""Perfume Street"", Via Brera. This showroom and fragrance workshop provides a perfect location for meetings with the press and experts. In December 2016, the opening of the first store abroad: Sofia, Bulgaria. A franchising project in partnership with the most important reality for luxury and lifestyle. In the first semester of 2017 3 corners were opened: one in Cagliari, at Donne Concept Store, one in Naples, at Profumo Emozioni Olfattive, and one in Rome at Il Conte. A fourth followed in July in Salò, Garda Lake. July saw also the opening of the ninth store in Forte dei Marmi. A jewel under the Tuscan sun. And the story goes on...
